I’d like to tell you a story today. It’s about Yeshivas Toras Dovid. And also, it’s about you.

In a peaceful, quiet part of Monsey, a powerful light of Kedusha started shining six years ago. When Rabbi Yosef Simon started Toras Dovid, it was a small program for baa’lei teshuva to grow in their Yiddishkeit and improve their skills in Torah study. There were only six students, but they were thirsty for Torah knowledge. They loved their small yeshiva, and Rabbi Simon knew he was on to something.

Fast forward just a few short years, and things have changed dramatically

We’ve outgrown our current facility; there is simply no space!

Qualified applicants are currently on a waiting list because we have no room for them.

Therefore, we are acquiring a new, spacious building.

This is what we need. It’s the only way we can continue our vibrant programming and meet the ever-expanding needs of the growing student population and community.

EVERY type of Yid is learning at Toras Dovid. All a person has to be is committed to Yiddishkeit and dedicated to growth, and he’s guaranteed to find his spot here. Students who came as total beginners have advanced into budding talmidei chachomim. The demand for higher-level shiurim continued to increase, prompting the establishing of eight levels of shiurim spanning from the very beginner stages through our semicha program.

Ashkenazim, sefardim, chassidim, geirim, full-time students, part-time students, bachurim, avreichim, ba’alei batim shteiging at night seder, young, old, “BTs” and “FFBs” Shiurim for everyone, on every topic, and at every level. Over a hundred students from over 10 countries spanning five continents.

It’s not rare that someone visits the yeshiva and walks away, echoing the sentiment of “I’ve never seen such a place before! So vibrant and alive! Every type of Jew is coming together! Amazing!” The fact is that Toras Dovid is one of a kind.

All of this means that – no matter who you are, reading this today – Toras Dovid is your yeshiva.

Your support to any Torah organization is a fantastic thing.

Finding, preparing, and moving into a new building is quite the undertaking, but Toras Dovid believes in what it has.
